Core WireGuard Architecture
Top10 Accelerator has built a new routing engine based on the WireGuard protocol. WireGuard achieves full accelerator functionality with only about 4,000 lines of code, whereas traditional IPsec requires over 600,000 lines. The streamlined code translates to a smaller attack surface, lower latency, and higher throughput. In our internal testing, the handshake speed of the WireGuard protocol is 3 times faster than IKEv2 and 8 times faster than IPsec.
Noise Protocol Framework Encryption
Top10 Accelerator's implementation of WireGuard employs the Noise protocol framework for key exchange, utilizing Curve25519 for ECDH key agreement, ChaCha20-Poly1305 for symmetric encryption, and BLAKE2s for hashing.
